“How can we improve service for our customers and business partners?” Canada Life was concerned with this central question. It quickly became clear that in order to optimize external communication, the first step would be to improve internal communication among the nearly 500 employees at the three locations and the sales staff scattered throughout Germany. The newly introduced central intranet of Canada Life simplifies processes and makes knowledge and information accessible from everywhere, for each of the employees speaking different languages. Not only the technical implementation based on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and Sitrion, but also a comprehensive key user concept and an accompanying marketing campaign ensured the success of the solution. The balance after four months: 110 content pages, 279 news and 68 collaboration rooms have already been created. In addition, every user visits their MySite at least once a day.
